What to include
Name the fixture and room, note whether the problem appears during or after water use, and photograph the fixture, visible leak or water damage. Mention other affected outlets and whether the damp area changes over time.
Service guide
For a leak, blocked drain or low water pressure, describe the visible symptom and where it appears. A damp patch alone may not show where the water is coming from.

Plan your request
Name the fixture and room, note whether the problem appears during or after water use, and photograph the fixture, visible leak or water damage. Mention other affected outlets and whether the damp area changes over time.
The source could be a fixture, drain, hidden pipe or another nearby area. Inspection access, replacement parts, drainage work and restoring any opened surface can change the proposed scope.
Ask what diagnosis covers, whether repair and parts are included, and how any wall or floor opening, surface restoration or added cost would be agreed before work starts.
Common questions
Photos help explain visible damage, but a concealed leak may need an on-site diagnosis before repair scope is clear. Share when the moisture appears and what fixtures are nearby; a photo cannot confirm the hidden source. Source: National Water Company leak guide
Identify the sink, shower or toilet, say whether water drains slowly or has stopped, and mention any other affected fixtures or when the problem began.
